camera apk

hi everyone !
im requesting here the original camera.apk because somehow when i root my gio, it has been unistalled and appears an error message when i try to run it...

i google searched and i saw lots of times people saying that i have to reinstall the camera apk. thats why im requesting this here

i would be very glad if you gave it to me.. i need a camera to live! xD kidding

it gives me an error. are you sure that it is for samsung galaxy gio? But thanks anyway

Hey bro, I extracted the camera apk of my Galaxy Gio with ES File Explorer


Dont know if this matters but Its from a stock 2.3.4 S5660L

yes im sure it works i got it from xda. you have to use root explorer and paste it in system/app and change the permissions for it to work, you cant install camera like a normal app

you also must get the lib files ...

i have a new request please guys. i dont know a sh*t of android phones so im asking you to make me a little tutorial about how to get my camera working again.. it realy makes me sad. such a good phone and i cant use camera.. i use a camera app called camera effect to replace the actual camera. but i prefeer the original camera.

Reflash ROM and root again if nothing helps

i am totaly newbie on this android thing

do you have root?

edit: my bad this is all because of root :p

open root explorer, allow superuser and go to wherever you saved the apk i posted earlier (probably in sd/ something)

copy the apk into system/app and set permissions by long pressing the app to

Read Write Execute
v v -
v - -
v - -

v=checked
-= unchecked

when done, press ok/done i forgot which one it says, then reboot phone and it should work
