Hey folks,
We all waiting this time, to will be ported Ice Cream Sandwich on our gio... and it`s a time
Feel ICS on Galaxy GIO.
P.S i hope soon this rom will be better then is now
camera is working (not video record yet)
Deep sleep is working when you’re leaving camera (no reboots needed)
new kernel (2.6.35.14, partially based on Squadzone kernel)
kernel: linaro optimized
kernel: pure ICS ramdisk without any modifications
bootlogo is back
updated cm sources

my phone was rooted but may be work without root. i think don`t need this is new android version not aplication. after this in phone will be deleted all files !

Well I´ve already tested and I can say that I am very suprised...It works very well (of course, with the bugs already mentioned)!
Can´t wait for the next beta to see what are the improvements!!
The only thing that give "headaches" is the fact that I can´t move most of the apps to SD. I´ve heard of sort of walkaround but until now I didn´t test it...

yes but i detected one of big mistake in this rom it`s a BATTERY . this system eats battery it`s too bad in one night -50% it`s a hell. because better to use official releases. cyanogen will release this as official system for gio and after this better to install. beta`s is a test versions. in fully official mode will work camera and battery will`t so bad and other surprises will be.
PS on this version games are so lagged.

i think u cannot now, at this system u cannot install few programs. in new release i think it will be fixed and i`m waiting OFFICIAL ICS FOR GIO release.
at NEXUS S too is problems with this system. cyanogen working hard to fix this problems but this will be fixed fast at nexus but idk at gio

the rom sucks because battery life (on gaming) is about 30-45 minutes & without doing aniyhing on it one day is good. i've tested it

was like that i reinstelled this rom and now in 2 day max 3%-5%

So i have good news soon will be released newest BETA 9 and will wprk camera fully with video recorder and so many mews will be so wait and visit official site or wait release here
