Comparing custom roms

Hi all,

I was interested in benchmark scores from different custom roms.
I found out that with a overclock to 864 mhz on Cyanogenmod 7.2 gives you a score of 2236 in Quadrant.
Would you guys help me with this research, so I can figure out what rom gives the best benchmark score? (please don't lie )

Well of course, that CM7.2 has the best benchmark score. Well, right now I use GioProv1.3 most stable rom for GIO. but score is kinda low.. @902Mhz only 1319:(, but it isn't matter for the score, but for less bugs & less lag & for performance I suggest.. Stock 2.3.6 or GioProV1.3

I make a note of your score (high overclock by the way, i can't reach that).
I know stability is important too, but I like the best rom for gaming and fast boot, no lagg etc.

Well I tried, but It isn't stable, for me it ran @1Ghz for 10 mins. Rebooted. Gaming.. You don't wanna ask.. Because you know it^^ Like it could be?

Can Ace be OCed to 1Ghz?

Umm,i dunno.
Anyway,excepting the camera and the screen..is the same.
So i guess it has almost the same functionality.

But the screen size for Ace is bigger^ My neighbor is going to buy one tomorrow I think. And does Ace have the same like Gio from 600Mhz to 800Mhz?

Yeah,well i guess so.

New Ace is coming Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus With 1ghz processor,and i think armv7.(fckoff.) :DD

And also 512 mb RAM ....

Indeed there is a samsung galaxy ace plus, but I don't think it will get ICS since it has the same specs as a galaxy s.
I would say to your neighbour that he should wait for a mid-range phone with ICS.

Anyway, back to testing!

Any idea how to get back from gio pro 1.4 to 1.3?

Just reflash GioPro 1.3 and do a factory reset.

Ok. I already know how to flash roms etc. But how do I make backup of my files? I dont want my saved games to be exterminated

It's actually very simple to save all your apps + app data.
download titanium backup from the market (or the paid apk somewhere on google), and go in the app to the backup restore tab . Then press the menu button and then batch, scroll down to back up app and app data and do it. You can recover your apps by reinstalling this app and go to batch and recover your apps! Tip: do not back up system data, it might let your phone crash. Good luck!

anyone have tried the ics build for gio on xda?i get like 1500 quadrant standart with build2 and patch 2 and 3 no oc..

The best benchmark score is have Cyanoobs mod. 2500 score.

Can you tell us how cyanoob looks like? how far did you overclock your phone?
BTW ICS doesn't work on my phone. I get that UMS storage error all the time.
