1. Wipe DATA/FACTORY reset
2. Wipe Cache
3. Wipe Davlik cache
3. install .ZIP
4. Reboot and Done !

wipe data/cache and dalvik cache just to be safe from your first rom before flashing.
mount data/system then flash cm9, then when done, flash it again just to be safe. dont reboot yet, wipe data/system and dalvik cache, and cm9 will boot with no problem Smile

mount data and system is to ensure no bugs, sometimes if you dont mount you get errors like gps need reboot to work and reboot to close
