Overclock

What is the max for OC on gio? I have flashed CM 7.2 how can i OC, im rooted?

I would like to know aswell, also on CM7.2 but the slightest OC makes my phone unstable. You can OC from Menu/Settings/CyanogenMod Settings/Performance

But how much MHz is max OC on GIO?

Some guys here have above 1000Mhz supposedly

Yeah, I wanna know that too...

KI dunno if tehere's any problem with the wifi,i didn't try the kernel since i fucked up my pc (if anyone could help me pm pls...)

You'll see somewhere there.

here's the stock/cm kernel :

it's overclockable to 1036 mhz, but it shuts down right away, it's stable at 883 for me though ^^

No wifi bug, he fixed it in the latest update about a week ago

btw I overclocked at 864 MHz. It is dangerous for my phone? I mean I can destroy my phone's processor with this overclocking?

well im not sure, frmo what i read and my experience, if you overclcok too far, your phone will turn off right away, or not stable, but to fix, just change back.

if you overclock though, it makes gio run silky smooth
so overall, nothing bad if you know the phone limits
