[BOOTANIMATION] ICS BOOTANIMATION

Hey, guys!

So here is the ICS bootanimation.zip for 480x320 devices. And I just wanted to share. This topic was made thanks to Thanu-G.
Here's how it looks.

How to set?

Video made by ME
1. You have to be rooted.
2. You must have Root Explorer.
3. Mount as R/W.
4. And copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media and paste.
5. Reboot and enjoy.

And this is not my work only the video.
ROOT IS NECESSARY.

Hey, how do you mount zip file as R/W? In recovery menu or rootexplorer(I would like a link for rootexplorer please ) ?

Google Root Explorer.

I placed it in system/media reboored and nothing happened

Then, Idk dude try maybe factory reset/wipe data. But do a BACKUP first:)

i'm not gonna do that for a boot animation XD if i factory reset it will be if cm9 with camera and radio comes out

...I've tried also the instructions previously posted in this thread but no success.
however for some who can't change the bootanimation, try this one:

NOTE: phone should be rooted and with RootExplorer/ES explorer installed

1. download the bootanimation.zip (DON'T EXTRACT) posted by androidnoob
2. put it to your sdcard

**before going to Step 3,using rootexplorer go to /system/media. If there is a bootanimation.zip file in it delete it before you proceed. If none proceed immediately to step 3.**

3. Using RootExplorer/ES explorer, go to your /sdcard
4. COPY bootanimation.zip
5. then press BACK ONCE
6. now go to /data then /local (you can check the top of the root explorer application if you are in the correct directory it should be "/data/local")
7. then paste here
8. reboot phone.

...I successfully changed the bootanimation..
...I'm currently Using android version 2.3.4 GIO v1.3 Panorama
