Re: CM9 for Gio
I wouldn't download it because it isn't stable, developers only.kaspar823 wrote:DOWNLOAD: GyanogenMod9 Developer Preview - build 1
WARNING! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO CONTRIBUTE, DON'T INSTALL THIS VERSION!
CURRENTLY WE HAVE PROBLEM WITH SCREEN BLINKING, SO IT CAN'T BE USED EVERYDAY!
Do full backup in CWM recovery - this rom cannot be used everyday!
Apply this package in recovery (you must to have CM7.2 or newer before installing it).
Remember! If you want to modify some sources of kernel, fork it from my github, upload your changes and do Pull request.

Re: CM9 for Gio
I gave it a try and it is in a complete mess ... The screen flickers quite a lot ... It needs to be fixed ... This version is just for developers

Re: CM9 for Gio
The screen flickers are gone, they have patched it
u can text, call, and use internet, and i have it installed since yesterday and it didn't reboot even once.
of course it has a lot of bugs, the camera, the radio, etc don't work yet, but it's Developers Preview Edition. and from my point, if you stick to the basics, it is pretty stable

Re: CM9 for Gio
Need ROOT
Change the density of the screen. Get more info on your screen, like with a high resolution setting on your PC.
*Fast density switching
*With the possibility to save the density and load it on demand or save the density as your default system density (To change your system density check the option in the settings menu)
You can get it from the android market

how to flash?
Anyone has a step by step explanation of how to flash it?
I am running it now but my screen still flickers, but many of you say it doesn't flicker anymore.

First of all visit [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and download the latest version of CM9.
Then copy it to your SDcard and then reboot into recovery and wipe factory reset ... then select zip from sdcard option and browse the file and flash it ... then wipe factory reset again and reboot your phone and enjoy CM9

FIX:zxgmgxz wrote:Me too!!!Yuraki wrote:I have a bug.. when i wont to listen music my headphones dosnt work..
First you need a 3pin headset and a 4pin headset. First use the 4pin headset plug in the 3.5mm jack and then put the 3pin headset in and bug fixed
