Could not read my memory card!!!

Hy, when I bought my Gio it came with stock 2 GB SD card. I had a second SD card at home (4 GB). When i tried to insert the 4 GB SD card the phone just didn't show that I have a SD card inserted!!! What should I do???

Hmm.... if you bought cheap card than Gio don't accept it:D My friend have this problem too. He try my SD card end it's worked.

Before gettin' off the 2 gb card,did you uninstalled it ?

i just had the same prob...............follow these steps
right click My Computer.....Manage......under storage there will be a option Disk Management u will se your memory card there.......change the drive letter to any alphabet and there u go its done

When I connect my gio with 4 GB SD card inserted, in the phones status bar only shows USB debugging and removed SD acard, insert a new one, but it dont shows in my PC...

It's not supposed to be that complicated. Buy yourself another micro sd card. Stay with scan disk or nexxtech,But nexxtech gives only like 7.3 gig for an 8 gig card :/ loll weird. But I know these ones work. If the sd card is to cheap = wont work. I know there was alot of fake ones sold online on ebay and amazon.

P.S. the best is SANDISK and KINGSTON

Nahh, i have a nexxtech 8 gig and it's working fine. Sandisk ARE THE BEST , but couldn't find a 8 gig at the store that i was at ...So tried nexxtech , it's ok.

if you deleted the ".androidsecure" directory this is problem.reinstall rom i think.
