You could try to update the android version. Or root and put a different rom and kernel.

I am scared to flash a new rom, don't want to brick my phone

Gio can't be bricked ..actually.
Anyway,here's a forum about unbricking it,it works 100% but i'm sure there won't be problems .

I bricked my LG Optimus One with ROM Manager

this is a real great game but i tell you guys when the character comes to the zero gravity section, it wont jump..maybe there's something wrong with my gio gyro's work, i tried to shake and shake and shake but it still wont jump...anyone understand to fix it?

Playing DeadSpace for the 3rd time. It really dissapoints me about lag while in quarantine lockdown... Any suggestions? Maybe delete some textures or sounds like in GTA3 ?

I have Giopro 1.4, got CF3D with reduced textures checked, PowerVR / Nvidia plugin (tried both), and overclocked to 864, that's max my phone can handle. And still lags like hell in quarantine lockdown.

Try simpligio+ or CM 7.2
