ClockWorkMOD help!! Empty ClockWorkMOD help!!

I have Galaxy Gio Rooted Android 2.3.3
I want to flash CM7.2 Democracy so do i need to install ClockWorkMOD recovery first?
If yes! then how? cos i have stock recovery.
There is a post where it is said that CWM recovery can be installed on rooted (which my phone is) and running greater than 2.3.3.
