what is cyanogenmod?

It's a custom rom to make Android faster usually used on highend devices like galaxy s2,

Its still in its beta stages so very unstable alot of the phones features are not working i sugguest using the other custom roms... or waiting for the offical release... i am anyways big fan of cm7 on my Zte v9 tab its a bloody gem i love it...

I think ill live without it.

galaxy gio is fast enough may be if you have htc wildfire (like i say wildlager) or se x8 then it could be useful. well i added my gio on computer and kies told than i could install newest update. i installed half wen by computer lost connection to my gio. i added it again and installed but after that update it lags sometimes. but games never lags.

i am currently using giopro 1.3 panaroma and its great and faaaaaaaaaaaaaaast!
still, i am willing to try the cm 7 for my gio to improve performance when a stable release come out.
good news, the author of the cm mod now works for samsung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
