Android 2.3.7 - Cyanogen Mod 7.2.0 RC-0 For Galaxy GIO build 4

Binaries fixed - before that SH and some other binaries weren't be flashed. Now it should... no, must working ;-)
Camera fixed - now stock app is working (apply RC-1.1 patch)
Wifi mac address is always the same - Big thanks for tom3q for his help

- Download & flash px-cwm-v2.zip from recovery, and reboot to CMW recovery
- Download & flash update-cm-7.2.0-RC0-gio-KANG-b4.zip from CWM recovery
- Download & flash gio_data2ext.zip from CWM recovery. It will convert data partition on your phone from rfs to ext4, which is required by CyanogenMod for Gio.
- If you want Google Apps, install 121111_gio_googleapps.zip from CWM recovery.
- Reboot phone and wait.

i tested it and everithing works perfect also gr scanner has no splitted screen anymore.

hey after i updated this rom.now the camcorder is now working but it still has very sluggish video recording than on 2.3.5 stock rom.

GIO stock is 2.3.4. NOT 2.3.5 !!!!!

I have only 2.3.4 and i cant get the 2.3.5 yet in my country.

NOPE!! in samfirmware.com the latest version it shows is 2.3.4.! so 2.3.5. is only another custom rom. none country has 2.3.5.!

hey if i remove default ADW launcher and install launcher pro does my phone will be keeps bootlooping or not?

I´m curious about this ROM and I would like to try it but, I will wait for some feedback from those who tried it. Right now, I´m using GioPro 1.4 and until now nothing to complain...but keep hearing everyone talking wonders of Cyanogenmod.

I was using cyanogen few days and I was really disappointed about it. Now I have gioprov 1.4, customized it a little bit and It's perfect for me. If I had choice between those 2, I'd choose giopro.

I had it, many bugs for me.

i have cyanogen is perfect for me and is more beautiful than giopro

If you want an "eye-candy" ROM which will make you to put at charge the phone after 7 hours of life ..yeah CM is your option.
If you want a custom ROM which you can make look "eye-candy" at your own,but still with 2 days of life ..choose GioPro.

but my phone is sometimes alive about 2 days in cyanogenmod.
